17th Annual Hearts Afire Gala To Take Place in April
The Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt will host their 17th Annual Hearts Afire Gala on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 12:00 PM at the View on the Hudson in Piermont, New York.
During the gala, the Mary Ann Sammon Award for Compassion and Service will be presented to Barbara & David Bender, Founders and Co-Artistic Directors of Career Bridges, and John Nevins, Founder and Owner of Sunrise Landscaping.
The Mary Ann Sammon Award is presented each year to individuals whose lives and faith exemplify the spirit of service and compassion of our foundress, Mother Mary Ann. The 2016 recipients of the Mary Ann Sammon Award were the Religious of Christian Doctrine and Robert Manzella of Pustorino, Puglisi & Co., LLC – A Division of Grassi & Co.
Another highlight of the 2017 Hearts Afire Gala will be the announcement of the 2017 Disney Raffle winner.
