The Celtic Tea is an annual favorite event of the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York.
For many years, Sisters, Associates, and local community members would come together in March at the Motherhouse to enjoy a spirited afternoon full of friendship, prayer, delicious food, tea, raffles, and Irish entertainment.
While many events have been postponed and canceled over the past year, the Sisters of Saint Dominic are thrilled to share that this year's Celtic Tea has gone virtual.
On Wednesday, March 10th, participants can view the Celtic Tea live stream on the Sisters' Facebook and YouTube pages from 5 PM – 6 PM. A copy of the broadcast will be available on these pages after the live stream has concluded.
Even though the Celtic Tea has gone virtual, event participants will still be able to enjoy a fun hour of prayer, raffles, and Irish entertainment.
Sr. Dorothy Maxwell, OP, will be hosting the Celtic Tea and lead participants in an opening prayer, followed by Irish music from the talented Kevin Cronin. During the Celtic Tea, Kevin will be performing a series of songs.
In between songs, Sr. Dorothy will be announcing the raffle winners of our nine Celtic Tea baskets, which include: Basket of Belleek, Cable Knit Lap Blanket, Happiness & Blessings, In the Celtic Spirit, Irish Warmth, It's All About the Shamrocks, It's All About the Table, Top of the Morning, and Where My Mother Was Born.

The Sisters of Saint Dominic hope you will join us at the Celtic Tea or one of our other Catholic Sisters Week events.
