This week’s “Embracing Faith” article will focus on Embracing Faith through Community.

In late March, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, launched the Hearts Afire Podcast. In this show, discussions about Faith, Advocacy, Ministry, Community, and Reflection will occur in thirty minutes or less.
Each season of the Hearts Afire Podcast will feature ten episodes recorded on a bi-weekly basis that includes various Sisters or Associates as guests.
Presently, the Hearts Afire Podcast is on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
The first episode of the Hearts Afire Podcast was recorded on March 24th and featured Sr. Dorothy Maxwell, OP. During the episode, Sr. Dorothy discussed Holy Week and took listeners through a detailed explanation of each day’s meaning during Holy Week.

Looking forward, the next episode of the Hearts Afire Podcast will take place on Wednesday, April 7th, and feature Sr. Miriam Catherine Nevins, OP.
During the episode, Sr. Miriam Catherine will discuss why we celebrate the Easter season after Easter is over, the Sunday of Divine Mercy, and what the Easter season means to her.
