This week’s “Embracing Faith” article will focus on Embracing Faith through Inspiration.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” -1 Timothy 4:12
The end of every school year tends to be a time of stress and excitement for students, teachers, and their families.
As the stress increases during finals so does the anticipation of summer vacation.
However, this year, for students and their families, that anticipation has changed and even completely deteriorated.
For those graduating college into an unsteady economy, the job market is nothing short of scary, and for the students and parents that look forward to summer camp, many of them have been cancelled.
Young people are going to be entering into uncharted territory this summer season, and are in need of a mindset that encompasses faith, gratitude, and wisdom.
Whether you are a recent graduate unsure of what is next, a student without a summer plan, or a parent trying to help their child navigate this uncertainty, it is vital to believe and follow the wise words of these eight bible verses.
“Blessed is the woman or man who perseveres under trial, because when they have stood the test, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” -James 1:12
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is God who goes with you. God will not leave you or forsake you." -Deuteronomy 3:16
“Let your light so shine before women and men, that they may see your good works and glorify God in heaven.” -Matthew 5:16
“Commit to God whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” -Proverbs 16:3
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for God, not for humans.” -Colossians 3:23
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says God, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11
“May God give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” -Psalm 20:4
“Love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” -Mark 12:30
