This week’s “Embracing Faith” article will focus on Embracing Faith through Vocation.

On Wednesday, March 9th, several Women Religious from various Dominican congregations will come together for a live #AskASister event to discuss religious life and the discernment process.
The live broadcast of this discussion will begin at 8 PM EST and take place on Facebook Live, Twitter, and YouTube Live.
Sr. BarbaraAnn Sgro, OP, a Sister of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, who ministers as Coordinator of Pastoral and Deaf Services for the Hudson Valley Catholic Deaf Center, will be participating in this event, with Sisters June Fitzgerald, OP, of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, Gloria Agnes Ardenio, MM, of the Maryknoll Sisters of Saint Dominic, and Debbie Blow, OP, of the Dominican Sisters of Hope.
Sr. Jeanne Shary, OP of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, will serve as the event moderator.
During the discussion, those tuning in can ask the participants questions about religious life, their ministries, the discernment process, among other topics.
