Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt To Celebrate National Catholic Sisters Week 2018
BLAUVELT, NY (2/28/2018) - The Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, will participate in National Catholic Sisters week, an annual celebration that honors women religious that takes place from March 8-14, 2018.
The Town of Orangetown will also recognize National Catholic Sisters Week, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, and the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill with a proclamation by Town Supervisor Chris Day.
Also, during the celebration, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt will host the following National Catholic Sisters Week events:
-Friday, March 9 at 12:00 PM - A Candid Conversation with Catholic Sisters Interview on Facebook Live
-Sunday, March 11 at 2:00 PM - Women's Celtic Tea in Huston Room at St. Dominic Convent
-Monday, March 12 at 5:00 PM - Midterm Conversation, Prayer, and Pizza Party with Dominican College Students in Dining Room at St. Dominic Convent
-Tuesday, March 13 at 6:00 PM - Days for Girls Service Event at Sparkill Convent
-Wednesday, March 14 at 1:00 PM - Finding God in the Everyday Reflection Group with Sister Mary Ann Collins, O.P., in Huston Room at St. Dominic Convent
